My first Doctor was Tom Baker with his long multi-colored scarf and a wide-brimmed hat, although I also got into Jon Pertwee’s Doctor, in large part because of this interactions with Sarah Jane Smith (the best companion, unmatched until Martha Jones) and Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart. I do enjoy the modern revival, and my youngest niece is a Matt Smith girl. Looking forward to see what the the Twelfth Doctor (and Peter Capaldi) brings, and what happens next.
