Pedestrian Sundays in Kensington Market

Also this weekend (on Sunday) is the start of this years P.S. Kensington or “Pedestrian Sundays in Kensington Market” in Toronto. What is it all about? Pedestrian-only streets – last Sunday of the month from May to October, 2007, from 1pm till 7 pm. Where is it? Kensington Market is located in Toronto (Ontario, Canada) on several streets south of College St, west of Spadina Ave, north of Dundas St and east of Bellevue. (Map)

Sunday May 27th: Spring! Grand Opening Celebration
Celebrate our glorious outdoor market as the streets truly come to life with the first Pedestrian Sunday of the year.

Sunday June 24th: Fire! Summer Solstice SUNday
This month, think of the greatest and grandest fire there is, that feeds all life on earth – the sun! as Kensington celebrates the summer solstice.

Celebrating the bounty of the earth, the cultures of our world, and our many harvest traditions.

Sun October 28th: Halloween! Honoring Ancestors
Celebrating the many traditions of honoring our ancestors.
